Throughout last year I've been alternating between half wigs and my natural hair and it has been working all year long. I knew for the New Year I wanted to get a sew-in but I was unsure of what hair to get to be installed. I knew I wanted Remy hair but my major concern was finding the right brand for the right price.
Through doing my research on YouTube and watching Ateyaaa's videos which I love on her installation I was convinced to go with the Janet Collection's Alco Remy Hair (Ateya's Hair Review). I was amazed with how how well the hair blended with African-American Natural Relaxed Hair.

I purchased the hair from the Super Beauty Depot website. It comes in a variety of lengths: 10A, 10", 12", 14", 16", and 18". The longer the hair, the higher the price. I purchased a 14 inch and it definitely appears longer(it looks like 16-18 inches). I payed a total of 100.00 for the hair and got another pack for FREE! Yes that's right FREE! The website has a special going on now on the hair and it doesn't matter what length you get, if you buy one pack you will receive a second one for FREE. The color I have in is a #4(Medium Brown). The color is GORGEOUSSS! This is the color of my natural hair. I chose to leave my front edges out and the back is sew in.
My plan is to keep the hair in for 2 1/2 to three months or more. During that time I will be using flexi rods to style the hair because it is recommended that you don't use a lot of heat on the hair. I do plan to wash the hair as often as needed, alternating between Kenra Moisturizing Shampoo and Conditioner and Silk Elements Luxury Shampoo and Conditioner. I've seen so many great reviews on this hair on YouTube and some divas have stated they've had theirs in for almost SIX months!
I'll definitely keep you dolls updated on the hair, more than likely after the first wash to see how it holds up!
