Being born and raised from the city that held this extravagant five nights of fashion event, I was so excited to be able to attend this summer. I've love fashion since I can remember from styling to designing to accessorizing. I felt so at home being able to see others who share my same passion for this beautiful art form.
I won a weekend pass by entering in a contest on the official website. I attended the Friday and Saturday night show with my lovely date my father. It was truly a special moment to share with my amazing father who inspires me in so many ways.
I was blown away the fashion and designers who were showcased at the event, each one having there own flair and bringing something different to the show. I attended both the Friday and Saturday evening shows located at Richland Fashion Mall which was the perfect venue.
I hope to attend more of Columbia Fashion Week in the future and I'm so proud of my city!
